Noble Energy, Inc. Regulatory Policy Advisor in Denver, Colorado
The Regulatory Policy Advisor is responsible for coordinating and executing environmental and regulatory policy/ advocacy programs. The Regulatory Policy Advisor also serves as liaison on behalf of Noble with governmental agencies, trade associations, and other external stakeholders in matters pertaining to EHSR practices and regulation development. Provides leadership and direction to the setting and implementation of company environmental and regulatory standards, policies, and programs, both corporate-wide as well as specific to Noble’s operating Regions.
Monitors regulations to determine impact on operations and advises management accordingly.
Monitors issues, tracks trends and updates on relevant government initiatives, regulations and policies in states and countries Noble operates in.
Represents and advocates on behalf of the company with state and federal regulatory agencies
Supports Noble’s business by developing proactive federal and state environmental regulatory policy strategies.
Works with Noble’s government relations and communications department to support the implementation of the company’s government relations strategies.
Supports the development of Noble Energy’s public policy positions, including the drafting of white papers and commenting on proposed regulations.
Represents Noble as appropriate at federal, regional, and state trade organizations.
Provides functional support to the EHSR and GR/CX teams.
Typically requires 5 years of experience in environmental, health and safety or government relations.**
