The Document Control Coordinator will be responsible for the daily maintenance of physical and electronic documents.

Detailed Description

  • Interprets researches, organizes, catalogues and determines disposition of all existing and new incoming documents.

  • Handles numbering, check-in/check-out, location, editing and re-filing procedures for all incoming and outgoing documents.

  • Ensure Document Control processes are in place and being followed by 3rd party companies per company standards.

Ensures quality assurance initiatives are observed, and identifies opportunities to improve organization of document storage system.

  • Maintain and update File Management System in accordance with company standards.

  • Performs various other tasks related to document control as requested.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Typically requires two years or more previous work experience, preferably in the document controls area

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels of personnel

  • Proficiency with various computer applications including Microsoft Office, File Net, Documentum or other Document Management Software.
