Noble Energy, Inc. Business Development Advisor in Houston, Texas
The Business Development Advisor will identify, analyze, develop and negotiate growth projects and divestment opportunities in support of the company’s strategic plan. Generates new ideas for asset management. Actively looks for acquisition opportunities, develops negotiation strategy and negotiates closure of business deals.
Promotes “deal generation” to include networking to maximize Noble’s exposure to new business opportunities such as traditional purchase and sales transactions, resource plays.
Interacts with management and division personnel to coordinate the generation, review and approval of potential property transactions.
Manages contract personnel and consultants as needed to complete evaluations and close transactions.
Negotiates terms and conditions of property transactions.
Develops and delivers presentations to management.
Monitors and tracks industry activity.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or degree in an applicable oil and gas discipline; prefer MBA; plus 10 years industry experience to include project generation and economic analysis, planning and supervision.**
Knowledge of industry trends, performance and standard metrics.**
Demonstrated ability to analyze extensive amounts of data and information quickly.**
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint applications with proven ability to develop presentations of tax and financial impact analysis.**
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.**
Proven ability to work independently.**
