Noble Energy, Inc. EHSR Systems Supervisor in Houston, Texas
The EHSR Systems Supervisor should have a keen interest in helping the organization evolve its tools and technology to improve environmental management and safety performance. The individual will be responsible for owning the overall health and outcomes of the EHSR Information Management systems.
Define, prioritize, and coordinate EHSR system tactical and strategic needs (Air Emissions, Incident reporting, Environmental performance) and drive overall adoption and growth across the company.
Interface cross-functionally with business teams to develop and understand process and system requirements. Coordinate with IT to drive project execution and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Manage the business-facing day to day system performance; troubleshooting and issue resolution through IT.
Understand, coordinate and convey systems related priorities, status, and benefits/risks to organizational leadership (EHSR, Operations, Finance, and IT).
Ensure integration of EHSR Information Management systems within the existing Noble infrastructure from a process and operational perspective.
Drive business compliance and consistency with internal data management and reporting specifically related to:
Greenhouse gas reporting
Annual sustainability report
Internal EHS performance metrics
Performs final hiring, promotion, and disciplinary recommendations.
Responsible for management of assigned staff.
Develops EHSR program objectives.
Directs incident investigations.
Directs development, implementation and oversight of EHSR program
Reviews the accumulation and reporting of EHSR Performance Measures
Responsible for air, water and waste compliance.
May be responsible for oversight of Environmental Operations, Regulatory and Safety for business units.
Bachelor’s degree in environmental or Occupational Safety and Health or other related field
OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) +5 years of additional experience.
Typically requires 5 years of oil and gas experience (Environmental or Safety experience a plus)
Two years of EHSR systems experience (specifically related to ACTs/Intelex a plus)
Progressive experience leading Safety and/or Environmental Management Systems
Sound knowledge and understanding of our operating and legislative environments (US and International) as well as standards and best practices in the EHSR space
Highly developed leadership abilities; drive and motivation, while also being a team player
Team leadership experience
