Noble Energy, Inc. Environmental Coordinator - GHG/Air in Houston, Texas

Responsible for EHS data management and reporting including:

  • Supports data collection, validation and execution of GHG emission inventories across worldwide operations.

  • Provides key EHS information for external reporting through the corporate sustainability report, climate report, and through third party/trade organization benchmarking.

  • Responsible for data validation and reporting of EHS performance data for internal business unit stakeholders. Examples include: Total Recordable Injury Rate, days away incident rate, unintentional release data, employee/contractor manhour data, etc.

  • Coordinates with regional teams to provide training to internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in our data collection and validation processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science Discipline (Meteorology, Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Sciences)

  • 6 or more years of experience in environment, health and safety role within the oil and gas industry

  • Experience with Greenhouse Gas Inventory data and methodologies preferred

  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and technical writing skills

  • Familiarity with oilfield equipment and terminology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Effective oral and written communication
