Noble Energy, Inc. Environmental Coordinator in Houston, Texas

  • Provides environmental and air quality technical assistance during planning, design, implementation of construction projects.

  • Prepares environmental reports, assessments, air permit applications, registrations, and regulatory submittals in support of all production operations.

  • Provides technical environmental and air quality permitting and compliance assistance to the business units

  • Works directly with key business unit members and EHSR staff to identify environmental and air quality needs and ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local environmental and air quality regulations.

  • Performs environmental incident and accident investigations.

  • Communicates with state and federal regulatory agencies as a company representative.

  • Manages, reviews and approves work product prepared by environmental contractors.

  • Analyzes environmental records related to oil and gas operations.

  • Performs data management and recordkeeping for environmental management information system.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science Discipline (Meteorology, Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Sciences)

  • 5 or more years of experience in air quality permitting and environmental compliance in the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong analytical abilities and technical writing skills

  • Familiarity with oilfield equipment and terminology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Effective oral and written communication
