Responsible for effective communications of the company’s strategy, financial performance and outlook to the financial community including shareholders, analysts and financial institutions. Enhances the company’s corporate image and reputation and positions executives as thought leaders through robust, consistent messaging in executive communications, press materials, speeches, presentations and direct shareholder engagement.

Detailed Description

  • Develops and maintains an evergreen and standardized Noble Energy financial message platform in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Responsible for sourcing, drafting and finalizing quarterly financial communications such as earnings press releases, scripts, presentations.

  • Provides insights on market activity and presents effective communications strategies and recommendations accordingly.

  • Increases investor confidence and belief in the strategy for delivering shareholder value.

  • Analyzes financial trends, peer behavior and emerging issues to effectively position the company.

  • Provides counsel to IR and executives.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable disclosure regulations.

  • Collaborates with IR and Corporate Communications on external messages and communications strategies.

  • Collaborates with Corporate Communications to incorporate messaging across internal and external channels such as website, social media, employee communications.

  • Contributes content to annual publications such as the annual report and sustainability report as appropriate.

  • Contributes content to select non-financial publications such as press releases, speeches, presentations, blogs, newsletters and a variety of informational publications.

  • Applies a journalistic approach to corporate story telling through sourcing, interviewing, trend analysis and data evaluation to ensure content is measurable and measured.

  • Monitors, tracks, measures and reports external message resonance among financial audiences.

  • Participates in protocol process to ensure compliance with the disclosure policy accuracy and consistency and compliance with disclosure guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience in E&P;, financial writing or journalism background preferred

  • Typically requires 10 years of communications experience.

  • OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) + additional equivalent experience.
