This position will be responsible for working with members of the HR team and Business Leaders to provide consultation inorganization development,change management, organization effectiveness, leadership development, and performance consulting. Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating core organizational development programsdesigned tobuild organizational capability. Expected knowledge would include experience with current models and theory for optimal organizational performancewith the ability to translate this knowledge into practical results.
Develops strategic partnerships with the Leadership teams, HR Business Partners and other internal clients to identify and intervene on change management initiatives that foster organization learning and addresses corporate strategic goals and needs.
Provides wide variety of OD consultation services, including coaching, to requesting leaders.
Shares knowledge of change management theory, principles, and practices; management and leadership approaches, and instruction design and delivery techniques in order to increase organizational capability.
Develops standards and procedures to provide high quality OD services.
Serves as an advisor and develops interventions around impacts resulting from whole organization changes.
Proactively addresses and responds to organization development issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes and performance gaps, implementing and/or supporting implementation of appropriate interventions, including strategic planning, project planning, facilitation, instruction, program design, materials development and performance analysis.
Consults with organization leaders regarding strategic planning sessions for groups to clarity, communicate and act upon the vision and goals of their team within the context of the organization’s purpose, strategy and values.
Provides individual, team and organization assessments regarding organization health and effectiveness so that change projects can be prioritized and brought to successful completion.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
At least 8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: organizational development, performance consulting, talent management and change management.
Knowledge of organization development principles and processes, methods, and techniques.
Strong facilitation skills.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Strong leadership abilities combined with superior long- and short-term planning and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of current trends and technical advancements.
Working knowledge of upstream exploration and production operations preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships with leaders and key individuals within organization.
