Noble Energy, Inc. Senior Health and Safety Coordinator in Houston, Texas

The Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of corporate health and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory agency health and safety policies and procedures. These responsibilities include development and implementation of strategic safety initiatives supporting regional needs. In addition, the Safety Coordinator will support regional needs for subject matter expertise, assist with incident investigations, and work to grow our EHS culture supporting our NO HARM program.

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of Noble’s health and safety related programs.

  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure EHS required training requirements are met.

  • Supports, maintains and drives improvement in Noble’s safety programs and initiatives.

  • Provides training, support and technical assistance to field staff.

  • Supports incident investigations and agency reporting.

  • Supports development and implementation of the health and safety aspects of environmental management information system.

  • Drives incident investigations, quality corrective actions and shares lesson learned.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a safety or environmental related discipline

  • Typically requires 8 years of experience in EHS

  • OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) + 3 years of additional equivalent experience.

  • Five years of oil and gas experience

  • Familiarity with oilfield equipment and terminology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Effective oral and written communication
