Coordinates both tactical and strategic IT Services activities and supports the infrastructure (Business Network & PCN) at El Trapial oil field to ensure safe, reliable operations and delivery of aspirational goals.

This position provides the management of the IT Services and Infrastructure for LABU Argentina business unit at El Trapial oil field in the Neuquén province (Argentina).

In alignment with the Business Unit needs, partner with the IT Foundation Platform and MSPs (Managed Service Providers) to ensure continuous delivery of IT Services and Infrastructure to the field by providing the customer perspective from the field and the guidance/coordination to the MSPs with a particular focus on the field connectivity infrastructure.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • This position is primarily envisioned to manage and support the IT Infrastructure Systems with a particular focus on connectivity, coordinate providers and the end user support.

  • Partner with Platform teams to determine, deploy and support the IT Services and Infrastructure by delivering cost effective, compliance, scalable and driving value.

  • Supports IT Foundation Platform to identify, prioritize, initiate, drive, and track progress on improvement initiatives, projects, and operational goals.

  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner consistent with OE principles, MSW practices and SOPs and in accordance with the relevant specifications, regulations, and standards.

  • Champion incident-free-operations and OE processes (e.g. PTW, JSA, IHE, SYLA/SWC, etc.)

  • Act as MOC Owner for all MOCs on the facility.

  • Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) as requested.

  • Local IT budget: Budgeting and execution tracking (IT ALCM, New IT deployments).

  • IT Assets Inventory: Tracking, Stock, Disposal, Warehouse.

  • Contracts (Data Links, On-site Support Personnel, Printer Support, Network Devices Maintenance Agreement, etc.) Invoices tracking, Services Order and Purchase Orders management.

    Special Consideration:

  • Work schedule is 7/7 (7 days on followed by 7 days earned time-off)

  • Accommodation during work time will be on the El Trapial oild field, with logistics provided.

  • Location: Neuquén (No relocation will be considered).

  • 5+ years or more of Network Infrastructure and End User support.

  • English language skills.

  • SAFe Certified Agilist.
